low and low budget ideas for baking as Christmas gifts?

I'm not good for baking, but am willing to try to bake cookies recipe easy small gift baskets to buy in the dollar store and fill them with cookies as gifts for family members. It has only 4 gifts for children and parents and laws. The rest, to be brutally honest, can not afford. I just want the low-budget ideas, easy recipes for cakes to go with. Can anyone help so I can make nice gifts on a budget, I kept my dignity??
