Homemade Christmas gifts?

Okay, so I will not be in town for Halloween or Thanksgiving until Christmas or anything, I have nothing to expect, but Christmas. So I'm trying to think of Christmas gifts homemade. I really like to bake, so I want to do something that implies the kitchen. Heres my ideas: people who live for me, gingerbread men in nice containers for x-mas for the people who live in another city or province: Cookie jar on one thing if you have any other ideas thanks! and also do you have any recipes soft bread men? oh and you know the emails that go around the time Christmas websites have Christmas recipes in them?
