How to buy Christmas presents for large families with a low budget?

Our family has just added three children this year with my stepchildren coming to live with us. Now we have 5 children and would like some IPS on how to save money on Christmas gifts. The ages are 2 12. Thanks everyone!

You can save more in the smaller … they like to open gifts … you can buy cheap toys and shop around for clearance clothes …. what I do is ask the elderly: if you only get a gift for Christmas what would you like? If more than one answers thereof, for example a play station or something … get it so they can share ….. explain to the elders that money is tight, and do not worry … Christmas is not about spending a fortune on gifts …. family and good times are far more important and I think people need to learn this … you can get games for children, or any other cheap toy … if you want CD's, then get just one for them instead of them all they want, and copy them to others after Christmas Store …. care and everything will be fine.
